CareerSource Florida Crown

CareerSource Florida Crown provides in-kind services to many incoming businesses - which may include rent free offices, phone, fax and internet services and even employee screening. From job postings to job fairs, to employed worker training, we have a fully staffed Business Services Center to help new and established businesses get the services they need. Employed Worker Training is available. If you are a new business to the area, CareerSource Florida Crown can help you. If you have an opening in your company and need skilled workers, we can help you with job postings, application collections and even potential employee screenings.

Columbia County Business Tax Receipts

The Board of County Commissioners of Columbia County requires a Local Business Tax for anyone providing merchandise or services to the public. The Tax Collector issues these Business Tax Receipts on behalf of the Board of County Commissioners.

Columbia County Economic Development 

In fulfilling this mission, the EDD will work with new businesses to provide assistance for location or expansion within Columbia County. The EDD also works with existing businesses to develop additional employment opportunities for the residents of Columbia County.

Enterprise Florida

Enterprise Florida recruits new business to the state, and works to retain and expand existing industry and business. We provide site selection services, demographic information, incentive information and much more.

Florida Angel Nexus

We connect qualified companies with aggressive development plans to investors from the Florida community. We focus on businesses that already have some proof of concept and we will do our best to refer all Florida companies to resources to assist in eliminating the roadblocks slowing down growth.

Florida Division of Corporations | Sunbiz

Our activities include a variety of business entity filings, trade and service mark registrations, federal lien recordings, judgment lien filings, uniform commercial code financing statements, fictitious name registrations, notary commissions, and cable and video service franchises.

Florida Economic Development Council

Since 1964, the Florida Economic Development Council has promoted economic development throughout the state of Florida. Today we are its primary resource for developing economic development professionals, issues education, networking, and recognition of excellence among members of the profession. 500+ professionals count on FEDC to educate, advocate, and connect on their behalf.

Florida Venture Forum

The Florida Venture Forum is a statewide member organization that helps entrepreneurs obtain funding through education, strategic partnering and effective networking. The Forum's educational programs provide in-depth information on topics such as raising debt and equity capital, human resources, finance, management, term sheet negotiation, valuations, marketing and R&D.

We provide Free and Confidential Business Counseling and Mentoring for new or established businesses in the Alachua, Bradford, Gilchrist, Levy, Dixie, Columbia, and Suwannee Counties in north-central Florida.

The North Florida Economic Development Partnership, its member organizations, and the State of Florida offer an array of valuable programs and services for companies wanting to locate or relocate to North Central Florida. PoweringFlorida combines the power of both Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Planning and Economic Modeling Specialists International (EMSI) workforce data in one easy-to-use application to help you quickly explore and compare Florida’s communities; gain a broad understanding of the labor force statistics, consumer spending, geography, demography and other important data; and identify and evaluate all available sites and buildings in each community.
