What is your company description and what makes your company unique?

Your brand is your business' personality, and the first thing your potential customers encounter. At Digital Palm Creative, I help businesses create a brand and website that attracts their dream clients and ultimately allows them to make more money with a memorable customer experience.

Your brand is what makes you stand out - make it memorable.

How did you get into entrepreneurship?

I have been a web designer for over 6 years, I was a stay-at-home mom for 2 years prior to finally deciding to start my own business. I wanted to be home with my children while doing what I love.

Designing a brand and website that helps fellow entrepreneurs and businesses is my passion! I love that I get to be creative and help others advance in their businesses. And I have the freedom to be home with my children also - it's a win-win-win!

Why do you do what you do?

I have always been creative. In univeristy, I became more interested in graphic design and web design. I'm also very tech-savvy and I LOVE that feeling when you finally get something to work - whether it be connecting your website to do exactly what you need it to do, figuring out how to set up an email campaign or crafting a brand message that will attract ideal clients.

Even when I wasn't running my business I was always learning new techniques and being creative on my own so this is the best of both worlds.

What tools, resources or books have you used to start and/or grow your business?

I use web design platforms (such as WordPress, Squarespace, Showit, Wix, etc), Adobe suite for graphic design, I love reading so any time I get recommended a good business book I'm on it - but for my business particularly Brand Story by Donald Miller has been a game changer.

Why did you choose to locate your business in Florida?

I grew up in Miami and relocated to Vero Beach - I love the beaches and Florida is home. It's only natural I start and run my business here.

What advice do you have for other entrepreneurs?

Just do it.

You will never be fully ready for entrepreneurship - but you will learn as you are doing it. There is no failure, just learning. So, stop thinking about it and take the first step.

How can other entrepreneurs help you?

I would love to connect to chat about #entrepreneurlife. I'd also love to partner for referrals and other collaborations to benefit our businesses.
