Nancy came up with the idea for SnapIt Screw after her mom, who was volunteering, broke her glasses and used her earring to fix it. Originally, her mom suggested that she develop charms for glasses. While pursing this idea she realized how difficult it was to attach charms to glasses because of the screws being so small. This was the moment when the SnapIt Screw idea was born.
The book One Simple Idea has been very influential for Nancy. She tells other entrepreneurs that the experience of building your own business will have highs and lows. Be sure to enjoy the moments of triumph so you can keep your motivation going. You have to control your emotions, believe in yourself and the product/service you're selling. You must train your brain that failure is good and push your limits so you can grow.
