FloridaMakes is a nonprofit that works with individual manufacturing companies, to deliver company-centric service with bottom-line results, designed to: help you expand your market opportunities; adopt best practices, advanced technologies and training, and make the best use of existing public and private state and national resources available to enhance and further your company's growth.

St. Cloud Main Street

The St. Cloud Main Street Program, which began in September 1999, is a comprehensive revitalization program designed to encourage ongoing economic development in conjunction with historic preservation.

St. Cloud Chamber of Commerce

We provide our members with unique business development programs, valuable resources, effective marketing and visibility opportunities along with business advocacy at all levels.

Rollins College Center for Advanced Entrepreneurship

We educate and connect students and alumni with advanced entrepreneurs. All of the center’s faculty have started, purchased or run a successful business. A blend of entrepreneurial faculty and business owners provides students with unprecedented and regular access to learn and closely collaborate with top entrepreneurial minds.

Prospera

We specialize in providing bilingual assistance to Hispanic entrepreneurs trying to establish or expand their business. We offer a variety of services especially designed for Hispanic small business owners, to empower them through training, consulting, grants and access to capital.

PoweringFlorida | Small Business Tool

PoweringFlorida combines the power of both Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Planning and Economic Modeling Specialists International (EMSI) workforce data in one easy-to-use application to help you quickly explore and compare Florida’s communities; gain a broad understanding of the labor force statistics, consumer spending, geography, demography and other important data; and identify and evaluate all available sites and buildings in each community.

Osceola County Tax Collector Business Tax Receipts

A Local Business Tax Receipt is issued by the Tax Collector for the privilege of operating a business. Anyone providing merchandise or services to the public, even though a one-person company or home based occupation must obtain a county permit to operate. In some cases, if a business performs several functions, it may be necessary to acquire more than one Local Business Tax Receipt.

Orlando Economic Development Commission

The Orlando EDC is a not-for-profit, public-private partnership that attracts, retains and grows jobs for the region. We provide key services and support to companies at no cost — ranging from location and expansion expertise to long-term planning with community stakeholders.

UCF Business Incubator Kissimmee

This 8,000-square-foot, modern style, mixed-use facility serves a wide variety businesses in the greater southwest Orlando area and features Class A office space with flexible leases, conference rooms, a spacious training room with SMART Board technology, and shared office equipment, kitchen and reception area.

National Entrepreneur Center

We provide a single location where small businesses can access a variety of business resources, technology, research tools and more than eight resident support organizations who can provide assistance.

Kissimmee/Osceola County Chamber of Commerce

Member benefits include: opportunities for professional development, networking, lunch & learns, business after hours events, listing in our online directory, access to Golf tournaments and Annual meeting, leadership participation and more.

Florida SBDC Osceola County

Our trained and experienced consultants are available to discuss ideas and provide personalized, confidential guidance free of charge. Since 1964, the Florida Economic Development Council has promoted economic development throughout the state of Florida. Florida Division of Corporations | Sunbiz

Our activities include a variety of business entity filings, trade and service mark registrations, federal lien recordings, judgment lien filings, uniform commercial code financing statements, fictitious name registrations, notary commissions, and cable and video service franchises.

Flagler County Department of Economic Opportunity

We facilitate the expansion and diversification of the County's economic base with targeted businesses that provide sustainable employment opportunities for its residents.There are a variety of incentives available to grow your business. Targeted Industries can receive State and local incentives that offset relocation costs. These can be tax credits, refunds or incentives based on job creation and training. Enterprise Florida recruits new business to the state, and works to retain and expand existing industry and business. We provide site selection services, demographic information, incentive information and much more.

City of St. Cloud Business Tax Receipts

If you own a business within the City of St. Cloud, you are required to obtain a Local Business Tax Receipt. The fees to obtain a Local Business Tax Receipt is $56.28 for Commercial & Home Businesses and $35.16 for a Rental/Landlord Business. New applications will be assessed a one-time non-refundable application fee of $20.00.

City of Kissimmee Business Tax Receipts

Any person pursuing trade or business, work out of their home, rent a short term dwelling, solicit or panhandle within City limits must obtain a Business Tax Receipt (BTR) from both Osceola County and the City of Kissimmee, prior to conducting business.
