What is your company description and what makes your company unique?

Continuous Synergy, LLC helps business owners navigate their company to the next level: providing fractional (part-time) COO / Integrator support so that they can focus on the vision and not the day-to-day operations and assisting companies expanding into the Federal Government Contracting arena. Insights into how to win federal government contracts (marketing plans, proposal & capture processes & strategies, teaming, Joint Venture creation, and training).

As a former Chief Operating Officer of a federal government contractor, I bring insights of managing the day to day of a small business. I come in and work with the business owner and take on the process of implementing their priorities so that they can focus on the bigger picture. I not only look at the strategies, but the systems to ensure continued efficiency.

How did you get into entrepreneurship?

I started my business in 2020 because as I was deciding what was next for my career, I wanted to help the small business community. I have seen small businesses spin their wheels and I wanted to help these businesses continue to move forward with the expertise I bring in operations and federal government contracting without having to add a full time position to their payroll. Many businesses as they grow don't need full time support, but focused expertise to help them continue to grow.

I love that I have the opportunity to serve multiple businesses.

Why do you do what you do?

It was natural to provide services in the two areas I have been working in for more than a decade. I enjoy working with business owners and seeing their vision become a reality. I know many business owners are the visionary and they need someone to partner with them to implement.

What tools, resources or books have you used to start and/or grow your business?

I realized early on that I needed a CRM tool or things were going to get lost in a bunch of paper. I use Keap as a CRM and it provides task management, scheduling, email campaigns and invoicing. It has helped to keep me organized.

Why did you choose to locate your business in Florida?

I currently live in Florida and know there are great resources for the small business community here. I didn't want to move out of the state.

What advice do you have for other entrepreneurs?

Take one step at a time and realize that it doesn't have to be perfect. Always take time to reflect on what is working and what is not working and make adjustments.

How can other entrepreneurs help you?

Please reach out to partner, know someone that might need my services or just to talk as a fellow entrepreneur. I enjoy meeting fellow business owners and believe in supporting each other. I also provide training to associations or other groups on federal government contracting and operational systems topics.
